Lovely realizations...

I don't even know where to begin...This is my last week of real classes as a Junior in college...WHOA! This is a crazy realization for me. I swear it feels like I just graduated high school and moved up here. I can't believe that I am about to be a Senior in college. SO crazy!

So this fact has opened my eyes so wide you can see my brain! (haha, that made me laugh out loud) I just keep thinking about how much I've grown as a person and the people I have met here. I don't want it to end,, but then again I'm so looking forward to figuring out what the rest of my life looks like. My time thus far in college has been a roller coaster to say the least. But I wouldn't change a single thing about it. It has turned me into this woman that is writing this blog, this woman that is in love with an amazing man, and a woman that has finally learned to appreciate EVERYTHING SINGLE THING no matter how small it may seem. It's always the little things because big things come in small packages. YAY for corny statements.

So I guess I'm trying to say to enjoy all parts of college, EVEN the crappy parts, because in the end they all matter.

Now, understand this, I am not saying that I know who I am and who I will be. All I am saying is that I have learned more about myself and am still continuing to learn about myself and who I am everyday. They are telling the truth when they say that college is the best time of your life. Spend it wisely and have fun!

Newbie...

So this is my first time doing anything like this. I've always loved writing but I've never felt like I could devote enough time to give a blog the attention it needed...until now. Recently, I mended bridges with a girl woman I knew in high school. She has been such a good role model and a perfect of example of strength, compassion, and what it means to be a TRUE woman of God. So since mending things between with her, I have decided to start a blog of my own, inspired by hers, but for slightly different reasons. Here are a few reasons why I started this:

This guy. His name is Tim and he is my WONDERFUL boyfriend. He is now living in Syracuse, New York. YAY I hate long distance. I started this blog for many reasons, one being a way for me to connect with other couples going through long distance who can offer advice, who I can swap stories with, and who I know understands. I want to make this work with Tim. God has truly blessed me with him. Especially looking at my track record. HA!

There's another reason. I want to share my journey, no matter how screwed up and sinful it can be at times, with people who don't even know me and people who may not even know my Father. He has done great things for me and I hope he will continue to do so and I also pray that He will do things through me.


So there are a few reasons why I started this blog. It's about my wonderful, crazy, beautiful, and sometimes hard journey. I hope you enjoy this. I will share more reasons when I can.
